Parking at WorldNET10
Please ensure that EVERYONE in your party reads the following and that where necessary you apply for permits immediately. Now read on..............
Parking at Bodington is now at a premium. The expansion of the tournament means that we have to take quite definite action as regards to how many cars are allowed on site. Added to this we would rather participants used public transport wherever possible and of course there are the perennial access considerations for fire ambulance and service vehicles.
There is a 10mph speed limit on site which MUST be adhered to at all times. There will be over 1500 pedestrians on site and they take priority at all times. Anyone not adhering to the speed limit will be reported to the police.
Each team staying on site will be allowed a maximum of five parking permits which must be applied for in advance and which will be delivered in the form of a PDF attachment by email.
Teams not staying on site will be allowed a maximum of four permits which must be applied for in advance and which will be delivered in the form of a PDF attachment by email.
Staff members will recieve parking permits directly so if a member of your group falls in to this category DO NOT ask for a permit for them.
Public transport information is readily available on the worldnet website under the Links tab. There is a regular bus service to Otley Road and numerous local taxi firms CHECK HERE!
Permits will be checked on arrival at Bodington and any abuse will result in vehicles being turned away. The nearest public car parks are over a mile away at the Arndale Centre in Headingley.
